Mr. Kasimis is the Data Protection Officer (DPO), responsible for designing the strategy and implementing procedures for the organization's compliance with GDPR requirements. He is in charge of personnel adaptation to GDPR requirements, training on personal data processing, and conducting regular security audits.
From 25/5/2018 it is mandatory for all businesses in both the private and public sector to implement the European Regulation 2016/679 General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which was passed on 27/4/2016, obliging them to comply with the handling and protection of personal data
Its application is mandatory for all businesses in all EU Member States,
Non-compliance with the regulation carries fines of up to €20,000,000 or 4% of the previous financial year's turnover.
Under the new EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), every organisation/business is required to appoint a Data Protection Officer (DPO).
